Conference History and Significance
The International Conference on Quaternion Matrix Computations with Applications was initiated by Prof. Musheng Wei in 2017, aiming to provide an academic exchange platform for quaternion matrix research. The previous three conferences were held in Liaocheng, Shandong (2017), Nanning, Guangxi (2019), and Jinan, Shandong (2023). This conference focused on academic exchange and discussion of the latest progress and future development trends in quaternion matrix computations and related application fields. Discussion topics included: quaternion matrix computation methods, quaternion matrix theoretical analysis, large-scale matrix problems, color image processing, and applications of quaternions. The successful convening of the conference promoted exchange and cooperation among peers, enhanced friendship, and advanced the development of numerical algebra and related disciplines.
